ABSTRACT:

ZSM-5-based zeolitic catalysts were synthesized for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis by adding different iron compounds to the reaction gel for ZSM-5 synthesis in order to increase the short-warp alkene selectivity by use of iron as an active metal component. Titanium experiments were made in addition. X-ray diffractograms were used to analyze the products for their ZSM-5 properites. The amorphous products were subjected to additional nitrogen adsorption tests. The hydrocarbon fractions obtained from the products' synthesis gas reactions showed a very narrow product spectrum (C sub 4 , max.). Their distribution was found to depend on the catalyst chosen.
