ABSTRACT:

This is the quarterly progress report for the first quarter of 1986, January through March, on Synthesis Gas Solubility in Fischer-Tropsch Slurry. Experimental determination of solubility of CO in two n-paraffin solvents was completed. We present the solubility data that we have determined for five gases in two paraffin solvents in ten tables. The solubility data have been correlated with three cubic equations of state employing van der Waals quadratic mixing rules. The correlation development is being continued. Preparation has been made to measure solubility of mixed H sub 2 CO gas in n-paraffin solvents. 8 figs., 14 tabs. (ERA citation 13:030167)
