3955.  ----- [WIRTH, G., SABEL, F., AND LAUDENKLOS, H]. Synthesis of Hydrocarbons From Hydrogen and Carbon Monoxide. United States Patent 2,351,248, June 13, 1944. Chem. Abs., vol. 38, 1944, p. 5385.

Hydrocarbons having more than 1 C atom per molecule are produced by catalytic conversion of CO with H2 in a plurality of consecutive reaction vessels with hydrocarbons formed, while maintaining in all the reaction vessels substantially the same throughput within the range of 200-600 m.3 of gas per m.3 of catalyst per hr.
