PATENT

3863.  WALTER, H. (Verein für chemische Industrie A.G.). Diffusion Reactions Between Gases. United States Patent 1,685,759, Sept. 25, 1928; appl. filed May 1, 1926. Chem. Abs., vol. 22, 1928, p. 4677.

Gases, such as H2 and CO, which slowly react in simple mixture are separated by a diffusion partition, which may be formed of catalytically metallized asbestos, and the gases diffuse into this partition, and the product formed, for example, Me OH, emerges from the partition under the diffusion pressure.
