3704. ----- [STUDIEN-UND VERWERTUNGS-G. M. B. H.] [Treatment of Gasoline From Carbon Monoxide and Hydrogen.] Indian Patent 22,982, Nov. 21, 1936; appl. filed June 29, 1936.

The gasoline obtained by synthesis from CO and H2 and b. > 100° is cracked to increase its antiknock property after it is subjected at 120° to polymerization with AlCl3 for the purpose of obtaining the lubricating oils from the monoolefins contained therein. There are thus obtained 42% of primary gasoline with octane number of 65, 39% cracked gasoline with octane number of 75, and 10.5% lubricating oil with a viscosity pole height of 1.9.
