3686. ----- [STUDIEN-UND VERWERTUNGS-G. M. B. H.] Process for Producing Solid Paraffin. British Patent Appl. 22,394, 1938.

Process for producing paraffin solid at room temperature from gases containing CO and H2, using catalysts of Co or a mixed catalyst containing Co at temperatures lying < 250° C. and under pressure of 2-50 atm. or greater, in which the optimum contact period of the gases, ascertained at atmospheric pressure, is increased approximately proportionately to the increase in the pressure, that is to say, when the pressure is raised the quantity of gas, determined as the optimum at atmospheric pressure, is passed through the reaction chamber per hr.
