Describes rectangular device that supports the catalysts and efficiently cools the catalytic reaction of the Fischer-Tropsch process.  The pipes carrying the cooling liquid are connected with each other and with the walls of the vessel by a number of metal fins.  The metal fins have a dual purpose – to assist in the efficient heat exchange and to strengthen the apparatus.
