Hydrocarbon mixtures with high olefin contents are produced synthetically by hydrogenation of CO. There are added to the initial synthesis gas, in addition to hydrocarbons with a 3-fold C bond, hydrocarbons with a double C bond, particularly C₂H₄. Addition to German Patent 764,165 (abs. 2987).
