3124.----- [RUHRCHEMIE, A. G.]  [Process for Producing Benzinelike Isomeric Hydrocarbons  From an Olefinic Raw Material.]  German Patent Appl. R. 102,114, R 385, filed Apr. 16, 1938 (Cl. IV d-12 o).  TOM Reel 37, bag 3,451, item 35, 3 pp.; TOM Reel 177, frames 1,542-1,544; Meyer Transl. PC-S-II, Fischer-Tropsch, vol. 1, chap.. 18, 1948. p. 48.

Low-boiling (<80°) monoolefins can be polymerized into gasoline b. 100°-200° by operating at pressures of about 100 atm.and at temperatures of 150°-200° in presence of a polymerizing catalyst such as H3PO4 on kieselguhr.  At the above pressures and temperatures and a velocity of 1.5-4 l. per l. of catalyst per hr. a conversion of 40-55% can be attained.
