3109.----- [RUHRCHEMIE, A. G.]  [Process for the Catalytic Polymerization of a Mixture of Olefins.]  German Patent Appl. R 104,047, R 426, filed Dec. 14, 1938 (Cl. 12 o-1.06).TOM Reel 177, frames 1,574-1,577; Meyer Transl. PC-S-II, Fischer-Tropsch, vol. 1, ch. 26, 1948, p. 66.

Mixture of ethylene, propylene, and butylenes or ethylene alone is polymerized to gasoline by passing it over a Ag-activated H3PO catalyst at about 250° and 100 atm. while drenching the catalyst with polymer gasoline or with a Fischer-Tropsch gasoline condensate b. 140°-200°.  The propylene and butylenes polymerize readily, but the ethylene requires recycling.
