3096.----- [RUHRCHEMIE, A. G.]  [Process for Separating Mixtures of Sulfuric Acid Esters of High-Molecular Hydrocarbons or of paraffin Hydrocarbons.]  German patent Appl. R 116,698, R 677, filed July 9, 1943 (Cl. IV d-12 o).  FIT Reel k-30, frames 7,936-7,940; PB 73,587’ TOM Reel 37, bag 3,451, item 36, 5 pp.

In separating mixtures of sulfuric acid esters of high molecular hydrocarbons, especially those of molecular size C12—C20, and of paraffin hydrocarbons, the mixtures, after neutralization of the esters with highly concentrated alkaline liquors, suitably 65-75%, or earth alkaline oxides or hydroxides are continuously extracted at 20°-40° with small amounts of low-boiling organic solvents, chiefly pentane and/or hexane.
