PATENT

3094. -----.[RUHRCHEMIE, A.G.] [Process for Separating Mixtures of Sulfuric Acid Esters of High-Molecular Hydrocarbons and Paraffin Hydrocarbons.] German Patent Appl. --, R 688, filed Aug. 25, 1943. FIAT Reel K-30, frames 7,893-7,895; PB 73,587; TOM Reel 37, bag 3,451, item 36, 5 pp.

Method of the original German Patent Appl. R 116,688 (abs. 3096) is improved by having the neutralization of the esters take place with an essentially H2O-free, finely pulverized alkali hydroxide, which, if desired, is previously heated to 350°-450° and finally again cooled to room temperature, about 20°.  A yield of 93% of theory is reported.
