3075.----- [RUHRCHEMIE, A. G.]  [Process for Producing Oxygenated Compounds From the Olefinic Primary Products of Carbon Monoxide Hydrogenation.]  German Patent Appl. --, R 522, filed Aug. 8, 1940. FIAT Reel K-20, frames 219-224; PB 70,211.

Before treating the olefinic primary products of CO hydrogenation with CO and H2 to produce oxygenated compounds, the primary products are subjected to a deoxidizing treatment by passing them in the vapor state at 300°-400° over a H2O-free difficultly reducible oxide, such as Al2O3, ThO2, or Cr2O3.
