3063. -----.[RUHRCHEMIE, A.G.] Process for Producing Catalysts for Benzine Synthesis. British Patent Appl. 31,293, filed 1938.

Process for producing catalyst suitable for effecting benezine synthesis from oxides of C and H2 characterized by the use of MgCO3 as carrier mass.  The Mg compounds employed as carrier material are dissolved out from the spent catalyst mass by treatment with H2O and CO2, whereupon the Mg solution separated from the insoluble residue is relieved of part of the CO2 by boiling or by the blowing in of steam and the Mg is precipitated as basic carbonate.
