3057.----- [RUHRCHEMIE, A. G.]  [Process for Producing Active Dehydrogenation Catalysts.]  German patent Appl. --, R 700, filed jan. 15, 1944.  FIAT Reel K-30, frames 7,855-7,858; PB 73,587.

In producing highly active, stable dehydrogenation catalysts, compounds of catalytically effective elements, which are decomposed heat, are precipitated on the carriers by spraying.  They are then converted into oxides by steadily increasing the heat from about 200°-700°.  The major part of the gases (60-80%) is set free during the decomposition, especially 200°-320°, in the course of about 2 hr.
