      3011.  ------.  [RUHRCHEMIE A. G.]  [Process for Combining the Benzine Synthesis With City Gas Production.]  German Patent Appl. R 110,396, R. 579, filed June 19, 1941 (Cl. IV d-12 o).  TOM Reel 177, frames 1,738-1,743; TOM Reel 36, bag 3,454, item 36, 6 pp; Meyer Transl. PC-S-II, Fischer-Tropsch, vol. 1, chap. 58, 1948, p. 146.

Factors specified for the production of city gas simultaneously with benzine synthesis are: A synthesis gas with the lowest possible N2 content, preferbally made by O2 pressure gasification: the synthesis converter so heavily loaded that per unit volume of synthesis gas the yield of liquid synthesis products remains below the highest possible yield, the amount of CH4 greatly increases, and the resulting end gas becomes suitable for use as city gas.  The process can slo be carried out under gas recycle and under superatmospheric pressure.
