PATENT

2913. -----.[RUHRCHEMIE, A.G.] [High-Boiling Hydrocarbon Oils.]  German Patent 721,929, June 27, 1942; appl. R 95,052, filed Dec. 21, 1935 (Cl. o-1.01).  FIAT Reel AA 88, frames 4,227-4,230; PB 70,273; Chem. Abs., vol. 37, 1943, p. 5578.

Oils are condensed from low-boiling hydrocarbon mixtures, such as the various fractions of a gasoline obtained by synthesis from CO and H2 containing unsaturated components.  The condensation agent, such as AlCl3, is reused repeatedly.  Each time a fraction with a higher content of olefins is used and the working temperature is increased accordingly.
