Method and equipment are described with diagrams for extracting Fischer-Tropsch converters of their paraffin deposits. The method involves the use of sprays of the solvent through a specially constructed pipe extending from the outside into the top of the converter and provided with nozzles for distributing the solvent uniformly. The process and apparatus as described can also be converted to other uses, such as the extraction of S from gas purification masses and of resins and other substances absorbed on active C, silica gel, and the like.
