1833. ------. [KELLOGG, M. W., CO.] [Synthesis Process.] French Patent 924,909, no date. Kainer, p. 206.

Catalyst is suspended in the gas stream and all losses of catalyst are trapped and returned to the process. Excess heat is removed by evaporating low-boiling reaction products, which are injected at many points of the reaction chamber. H2O may be used instead of hydrocarbons. The catalyst consists of Co, Ni, or Rh on activated bentonite as support.
