Raw material is obtained by oxidizing gaseous hydrocarbons, for example, CH4, with CO2 and steam.  After the synthesis, part of the gaseous hydrocarbons is burned to CO. this is separated and used again for converting hydrocarbons into CO and H2.  Describes an apparatus.
