1685. ------. [INTERNATIONAL HYDROCARBON SYNTHESIS CO.] [Hydrocarbons From Gases Containing More Carbon Monoxide Than Hydrogen.] Netherlands Patent 52,257, Apr. 15, 1942. Chem. Abs., vol. 41, 1947, p. 3942.

Solid, liquid, and volatile hydrocarbons are synthesized, with Fe as a catalyzer, at temperatures <320° and pressure 2-100 atm. The catalyzer is activated for hours and days at 240° -250° by CO or CO-containing gases under a lower pressure than the one of synthesis.
