            Starting materials are fatty acids produced by oxidation from petroleum paraffins from which aromatics have been removed, hydrogenated low-burning paraffin, hydrogenation products of C oxides, and the like.  Fatty acids from C4-C22 b. 150º-280º C., 2-5 mm. vacuum, are used.  The product after refining is a light, solid, odorless, and agreeable tasting fat adapted for human consumption.
