      1535.  ------.  [I. G. FARBENINDUSTRIE, A. G.]  [Recovery of Hydrogenation Gas.]  Austrian Patent 118,058. June 10, 1930: appl. filed June 11, 1926.  Chem. Zentralb., 1930. II. p. 1313.

Hydrocarbon-containing gases, after addition of the necessary amount of O2 or O2-containing gas for complete combustion, are burned in the presence of catalysts with or without the presence of steam or CO2, and the CO formed is wholly or partly removed from the reaction mixture.  In this manner the waste gases of hydrogenation are made useful.
