IV d-12 o).  FIAT Reel 164. frames 3,210-3,221; PB 75,914; TOM Reel 36, item 21. bag 3,454, 12 pp.; Meyer Transl. PC-S-V, Oxo. vol. 1, chap. 10, 1948, p. 23.

In a process for producing O-containing compounds, especially aldehydes and ketones also alcohols, CO and H2 are caused to react with olefin compounds with double bonds at increased temperature and under increased pressure in presence of technical catalysts.  The reacting gases have been thoroughly freed from CO2.  The operating details are virtually identical with German Patent Appl. I 68,296 (abs. 1438).
