            Catalyst is brought into a state of suspension throughout the reaction space and whirled by a current of gas; for example, in destructive hydrogenation of a heavy oil with a  Mo-Cr catalyst at 460° under 20 atm. pressure, or in synthesizing NH3 or MeOH.
