            Portions of the apparatus exposed to temperatures not exceeding 150º may be formed of Fe, and portions of the apparatus that are subjected to higher temperatures may be formed of Cu, Ag, Al, or their alloys or special steels containing Cr, Mn, W, Mo, or V or may be lined with these metals or, if the temperature may be above 150º but not to high, may be lined with Zn, Sn, Pb, or alloys of these metals.
