      1116.  HUNTINGTON, R. L., AND REID, L. S.  (Aluminum Co. of America).  Gas Separation.  United States Patent 2,642,955, June 23, 1953.  Chem. Abs., vol. 47, 1953, p. 8996.

Continuous cyclic process for removing adsorbable components, such as H2O, from a gas by use of a solid adsorbent, such as Al2O3, SiO2, or C, in the form of particles involves adsorption followed by regeneration of the adsorbent.  The countercurrent process is operable under high pressure, and a relatively small amount of adsorbent is required.
