      1015.   ------ [HERBERT, W.].  (Carbo-Norit-Union Verwaltungs G. m. b. H.).  [Process for the Adsorption of the Light Synthesis Products From the Hydrogenation of Carbon Monoxide.]   German Patent 747,399, Oct. 2, 1944; appl. C 52,389, filed Jan. 16, 1937 (Cl. 12 o-103).  FIAT Reel AA-90, frames 1,635-1,637, PB 70,275; Meyer Transl. PC-S-II, Fischer-Tropsch, vol. 7, chap. 197, 1950, p.34.

In the adsorption of the light products from the gases occurring in the synthesis of hydrocarbons from CO and H2, an adsorption agent, whose capacity has become greatly reduced through the treatment of the gases in the later steps of the synthesis process, is used for treating the gases in an earlier step, and the steaming-out process connected with this adsorption step is performed in situ in such a manner that regeneration of the adsorbent takes place with the liquefied synthesis products that are formed during this steaming-out step.
