            Controlled use of H2O as a reflux medium is the method by which closely boiling oxygenated organic compounds, particularly H2O-miscible alcohols, are separated.  Flowsheets of the apparatus are given, along with tables listing boiling points of various oxygenated compounds and their azeotropes.
