            Fluidizable Fe catalysts are obtained by subjecting Fe oxides to a sintering treatment and grinding.  Reduction may be applied before grinding.  Red Fe oxide, preferably less than 30 microns, is best.  It may be impregnated with activator such  as K carbonate before sintering.  Suitable sintering temperature is 1,200º-2,700º F., in a nonreducing atmosphere.  8 United States patents cited.
