Mixture of high molecular alcohols obtained by the catalytic hydrogenation of oxides of C under pressure, in the synthesis of MeOH, is converted into the H₂SO₄ esters or their salts, to form such an agent. Thus, the alcohol mixture from a MeOH synthesis containing the alcohol mixture from a MeOH synthesis containing alcohols b. 170º-200º is treated with H₂SO₄ and oleum.
