An olefin polymerization catalyst having high activity and structural strength is prepared by heating-treating a silica-gel base at 400º-1,250º F., admixing the heat-treated silica-gel and H3PO4, drying the mixture at 375º-425º F., and calcining the dried mixture at 600º-1,000º F. |
