CO and H2 are caused to react together at a temperature 475°-650° F. under a pressure of about 10-15 atm. In the presence of a catalytic containing Fe.  A portion of the resulting product is treated at a temperature 700°-950° F. in the presence of an active siliceous catalyst to effect deoxidation and conversion into an improved motor fuel.  Describes arrangement of apparatus.
