2430.     NELSON, W. L.  Fischer-Tropsch Process for Natural Gas.  Oil Gas Jour., vol. 43, 1944, No. 12, p. 189.

An exact statement on the possibilities of the Fischer-Tropsch process is difficult at the present time because of the lack of knowledge of recent German developments.  However, it is believed that much of the motor fuel being used by the Germans is made by synthesis from CO and H2.  Coal is the raw material rather than natural gas.
