        Co-catalyzed reaction of CO and olefins with alcohols and with amines normally yields esters and amides.  In some instances, however, products containing added H2 are formed.  The H2 is furnished by the reactants, possibly by way of the formation and decomposition of Co hydrocarbonyl.
