Direct determinations of the constant of the water-gas equilibrium at different temperatures led to the formula log K=-(1860/T)+1.662.  By means of an indirect method, a slightly different result was obtained:  log K=-(1881/T)+1.705.  The average of the 2 gives:  Log K=-(1870/T)+1.683.
