       Over the range 993°-1,393° abs., the equilibrium is given by log K=(1/R) [(-17.005/T)-8.06 log T+0.00254 T-0.063 T3+(38.100/T2)]+31.78.  The value of the free energy from the experimental data was Δ F298=11,400 cal., as compared to the value 10,918 cal. calculated from data given by Emmett and Shultz (abs. 833).
